10/10
The Magnolia room was cozy as a country hug, and Merv's scrambled eggs were the stuff of legends, y’all! Carolyn made us feel right at home, bless her heart. The big ol’ porch was perfect for sittin’ and chattin'. Can't wait to come back and soak it all in again!

A few things you should know
The breakfast was a delightful spread of homemade croissants and fresh eggs. The hosts were attentive, offering great tips on local attractions within walking distance.
The coffee machine didn't work during our stay and removing shoes was unexpected. A few slippers would have been a nice touch for comfort.

You can't miss the homemade hot dogs craving attention all over town! Honestly, the breakfast spread was a real gem, and the cozy Queen Room with Balcony felt like a little slice of heaven. Plus, the owners were downright charming, making us feel at home.
Hot, rainy weather did make the space feel a tad cramped and noisy. Despite that, it was still a delightful stay, and the charming staff helped us cope with it all. A quieter A/C might just bring more dreams!

Staying at this B & B was a blast for our family! The kids loved splashing around in the lovely backyard pond, and we appreciated how close we were to Fort Malden National Historic Site and the fun restaurants nearby. Perfect for our getaway!
My wife says that the creaky wooden stairs could be a hassle for little feet.

missingWrote a review on 06 Augvictorian decordowntown proximitycramped bathroom
The Victorian room features impressive decor that transports you back to 1904, with a comfortable bed and a fireplace for winter nights. Proximity to downtown and the river walk is a definite plus.
Wooden stairs creak with every step, which can be noisy and a hassle to navigate. The bathroom setup feels cramped, particularly for taller guests, and the sink's placement outside the toilet area could be inconvenient. Dust on the sheets may affect your comfort as well, and the breakfast didn’t match the quality typically expected from a B&B experience.

We had an amazing night in the Queen Room with Balcony! The beautiful bathroom and stunning breakfast truly stood out, but I did wish for a little more privacy on the balcony.

I stayed in the Queen Room for a night. The decor was really charming and added a nice vibe. Breakfast was definitely a highlight—homemade croissants and everything! However, the room was a bit warmer than expected, and it wasn't as cool as the outside rooms. Still, overall a cozy stay!

It was just a solid selection for a short break in Amherstburg with good price value. The wooden stairs added some charm but were quite noisy. Bring your slippers for comfort on the steps.
